APRIL ISSUE 2007
MINUTES of MEETING April 3 2007

The meeting was called to order at 8:40 PM. The March minutes were read by secretary, Carla Miller. Sue Sweetnam moved they be accepted as read and Mary Campbell seconded. Motion carried.

President's Report: Wade Campbell reported that the March trial seemed to be a success. Wade made motion that Dana McKenzie be nominated to judge our December 2007 trial. Mary Campbell seconded. it was discussed that Dana is judging a November 2007 trial at Eunice Gerloff's. There will be an A course, HT and PT. It was amended that Dana be asked to judge our March 2008 trial if she cannot judge in December 2007 for us. Motion carried.
Treasurer's report: by Lori Bowles. Our YTD loss is $1140.70. Our balance is $10,180.77. Jack Sweetnam moved to accept report. Carla Miller seconded. Motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS
David Brundage gave report for nominating committee. Below is slate of officers:

Board: Jack Sweetnam, Mary Campbell, Jane Harrell

NEW BUSINESS
Sue Sweetnam discussed doing a meet the sheep event. John moved that we have a Meet the Sheep on 5/19/2007 from 3 PM to 8 PM. Dinner would be a covered dish. It would be held at the home of Carla Miller. Jane Harrell seconded and the motion carried.
Sue will make up some flyers to mail to members, including those who have not been seen in awhile. We discussed taking some flyers to agility and obedience classes where there might be herding breeds in attendance.

Floyd Harding moved newsletter is obsolete since all information is on new website. He resigned doing newsletter, but will keep up website. Floyd will send addresses of persons who need minutes mailed to them to Sue Sweetnam. Sue will mail minutes to those persons. Sue seconded Floyd's motion and motion carried.

Carla Miller suggested club members think about possible seminars as a fund raiser. David Brundage suggested us doing seminar for FFA. Carla mentioned this would include seminars for club members.
Jack Sweetnam moved we adjourn. Andrea Coxon seconded. Meeting adjourned at 9:45 PM.
