MINUTES of MEETING February 5, 2008

The meeting was called to order at 8:30 pm.
The January minutes were read by secretary Carla Miller. Susan Sexton moved they be accepted as read. Sue Sweetnam seconded. Motion carried.
Treasurer's report: The Treasurer's report was given by Sue Sweetnam. Our balance was the same as last month-$8998.04.
President's report:The President's report was given by Wade Campbell. A letter was received fromSheryl McDonald with check enclosed. She stated difference in what she charged and what her contract read for judging was and that she was enclosing check back to club for overcharges.

OLD BUSINESS

Membership: Sue Sweetnam reported no membership applications were received.
Trophies are ready for March trial per Mary Campbell.
NEW BUSINESS

No new business was discussed
A motion was made to adjourn at 8:35 pm by Jack Sweetnam. Sue seconded. Motion carried.

BRAGS
HC Antha Vom Whirling Thunder, Owned by NCTHDA members Margaret Skalaski and Handler Linda Holloway were in the spotlight at the German Shepherd Dog Club of America 2007 National.
They were High In Trial on Saturday October 13 and were also awarded "Grand Victrix GSD". They received a Special and a A DannyQuest Cold-Cast Bronze sculpture, offered by GSDC Minneapolis/St Paul. The prize was offered to the highest scoring GSD from the Advanced A Classes and also free of any disqualifying faults.
Antha will be having puppies the end of March 2008.
