MINUTES of MEETING January 8, 2008

The meeting was called to order at 8:30 pm.
The December minutes were read by secreatry, Carla Miller. Jack Sweetnam moved they be accepted as read. Wade Campbell seconded. Approved as read.
Treasurer's report: The treasurer's report was given by Sue Sweetnam. $8998.04 is our balance. The fiscal year to date loss is $1146.76 which reflects the December trial, insurance, and website expenses. Carla moved report be accepted as read. David Brundage seconded. Motion carried.
President's report:The president's report was given by Wade Campbell. Rhonda Simmons will have premium list for 3/2008 trial soon. Central savings time starts 3/9/2008 so this may affect our starting time for Sunday.

OLD BUSINESS

Membership: Sue Sweetnam reported no membership applications were received.
Everyone is reminded to send in Dog of the Year points and 2007 AKC herding titles earned to Mary Campbell.

NEW BUSINESS

Having an HIC was discussed. Nothing was decided.
A motion was made to adjourn by Jack Sweetnam and seconded by David Brundage. Motion carried and meeting adjourned at 8:55pm
