MINUTES of MEETING December 2, 2008
The meeting was called to order at 8:10pm.
The November minutes were read by secretary, Carla Miller. Sue Sweetnam moved for acceptance of minutes. Barbara Palmer seconded. Motion carried.
Presidents report was given by Wade Campbell.There are 83 entries this weekend in our December trial.
Treasurer's report:Sue Sweetnam read the Treasurers report. Treausurers report was given by Sue Sweetnam. $8033.98 is balance as of 12/2/2008. Carla moved that the report be accepted. David Brundage seconded. Motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS
MEETINGS location:We will make meeting at 7:30 pm at Spring Creek Barbecue in McKinney, Tx on first Tuesday of the month.
Trial Committee Report: Barbara Palmer has contracts for judges for Spring trial ready to go out. Friday, 12/5/2008, dinner for judges is at the Longhorn Steakhouse and the Saturday 12/6 dinner is at La Hacienda. Saturday lunch will be sent out for and Sunday we will go out for lunch.
NEW BUSINESS
Membership: Sue Sweetnam did first reading for Tanya Brennan. Tanya has BC and rat terrier. She is a BCSA member. She does agility, herding and rally.
Carla Miller brought up that Sheryl McDonald wants to do NCTHDA Dog of the Year Award and collection of titles information for 2008. Mary Campbell stated that she wants to continue to do Dog Of Year Award points collection and titile collection. January 31, 2009 is deadline to get your information into Mary. Sue seconded that Mary should keep job. Motion carried. Members should send name of dog as you want it to appear on placque, date of trial where title was earned. The information for Dog Of The Year Award points is on the website of NCTHDA.org. There is a prize for border collie or other strong eyed dog and one for loose-eyed herding dogs. Carla Miller, secretary, will send out letters to members reminding them of awards and title placques and deadline.
Jack moved the meeting adjourn at 9:10pm. Carla seconded. Motion carried.

Jack Sweetnam moved meeting adjourn at 9:02pm. Susan seconded. Motion carried and meeting adjourned.
